I am not a ‘milkshake’ person. I prefer fresh juice over smoothies/shakes, to be certain. But oh man. This shake has me wrapped around its smooth, velvety chocolate finger. And it’s quite simple. Make sure you have some frozen bananas, pre-sliced. This recipe makes one large protein shake.
In a high-power blender add:
2 frozen, pre-sliced bananas
1.5 tablespoons of cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup (or omit)
1 massive tablespoon of natural peanut butter
1 scoop of protein powder of choice (we use RAW Vegan protein powder with probiotics)
1 table spoon of hemp hearts (seeds)
1 cup of almond milk
Blend! YUM. So much protein and chocolatey – peanut butter goodness.
I think I need one now. (We recently purchased stainless steel straws… we were going through way too many plastic ones!)
